Trying every day to turn peanut butter into imaging algorithms

Ciao, I am Gabriele Scrivanti and I am a postdoc researcher at MaLGa. Welcome to my webpage!

About Me

I got my master’s in mathematics at the University of Bologna in Italy, then did my PhD in Signal and Image processing at Université Paris-Saclay, where I was part of the MSCA ITN “Trade-OPT”. I spent my first year as a PostDoc at IPVF, developing mathematical tools for microscopy imaging in the context of semiconductor and photovoltaic materials.

Now I am part of the Computational Imaging and Learning (CIL) group of MaLGa, still doing research and learning new things!

Research Interests

Currently, I am working on computational microscopy for biology and material sciences.

More broadly, I am interested in solving complex problems at the intersection of Mathematical Optimisation, Image Processing and Unsupervised Learning.
